Our mission at Prevent Child Abuse
Wyoming is to prevent child abuse and neglect.
To accomplish this, Prevent Child
Abuse Wyoming's 2020 vision is to support and educate families by
communicating the value of children. Prevent Child Abuse Wyoming will
also influence community standards and policymakers to support the
families in Wyoming with their decisions and bills. We will support
parents and caregivers in their responsibility to create healthy and
thriving families in order to provide environments that are safe, happy,
healthy, and fun for our children in Wyoming.

Our
strategy is to identify and disseminate innovations, expertise and
knowledge that will lead to social change that eliminates child
maltreatment. Preventing child abuse and neglect can reduce the societal
and taxpayer costs associated with special education, juvenile justice,
foster care, the criminal justice system, and the adult health care
system. It also gives a child an opportunity to grow up safe, healthy,
and happy.

He is
now our spokesman and is continuing to support families.
Kelly has made mistakes in his career as a parent and would
like to remind all parents that it’s okay to take the hand
of a “pick up man” now and then. Check the national rodeo
home page for Kelly’s progress on the rodeo circuit this
season and check our site for ways you can progress as a
parent.
